Roderick B. Ramos (PNU) turned-over the Association’s medallion to Jocelyn L. Ladlad (DLSU) last December 5, 2008 (Friday) at the St. Beatrice Ballroom, St. Michael’s College of Laguna, Binan, Laguna as a symbol for the transfer of leadership to 2009 president of PNU-LISAA, Inc. Ladlad now heads a new executive board with elected alumni members, namely, Marites K. Chavez (Congressional National High School) as vice-president/conference chair, Noemi B. Cabantog (St. Paul College, Pasig) as treasurer, Arturo O. Morales III (DILG Local Government Academy) as auditor and Liezl M. Dominado (Colegio De Sta. Rosa) as public relations officer with five (5) board members such as Ofel L. Irabon (National Security Council), Medel N. Bautista (Xavier School), Elvira Reyes (St. Paul College-Paranaque), Marifi E. Navarro (Elizabeth Seton School), and Rosalina A. Soriano (Gen. Alvarez School of Arts and Trade). Philip Mark Daiz (Laguna BelAir School) will serve as secretary to the 2009 executive board.
Mrs. Milagros Santos-Ong, library director of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, administered oath of office and served as speaker for the topic: "Managing Libraries on the Four Pillars of Learning” with focus on faculty-library collaboration” during the 8th general assembly with a forum sponsored by a caring alumni group - PNU-LISAA, Inc. in cooperation with St. Michael’s College of Laguna.
Ramos is now an ex-officio and part of the Association’s Circle of 7 previous presidents which includes Mrs. Consuelo J. Estigoy (Eduardo L. Joson Memorial College), Mrs. Evelyn Nabus (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina), Mrs. Medina de Castro (Sta. Isabel College), Mrs. Estela Montejo (Ateneo De Manila University) who were in attendance during the ga-forum and other former presidents like Ms. Elnora L. Conti (PRC BFL), Mrs. Placida Socorro L. Limpin (Australia) and Medel Vincent N. Bautista, Xavier School (Xavier School).
